Southwire Launching Contractor Engagement Program

ContractorConnect will provide access to training, promotions, and events.

Southwire will launch an engagement program for its contractor partners in September. Through the ContractorConnect program, “contractors will have the opportunity to earn points through activities like product and application training completion, project-lead submittal, survey completion, and more,” the company said when announcing the mid-September launch. “These points will be redeemable for Southwire products, gear, and exclusive merchandise.”

Contractors enrolled in the program also will have access to promotions, training, and events.

“This program plays an instrumental role in rewarding the loyalty of our contractor partners,” said Alan Colorito, vice president of marketing and communications at Southwire. “We are excited to see how this program will continue to grow and progress as well roll out new benefits and rewards.”

Contractors can pre-register on the ContractorConnect platform now. Southwire will award 1000 points to contractors who sign up before the official launch in mid-September.

Once the program is underway, contractors will have several opportunities to earn points that can be used toward certain product purchases. For example, contractors can earn points by submitting project leads; in addition to earning points, submitting a lead can result in Southwire providing support in the quoting process as well as jobsite assistance once the project is underway.

Program participants also will gain access to education opportunities related to Southwire products, applications, and solutions. They will earn points for completing these training sessions.

"Contractors can also directly influence product and solution development through engagement in quarterly surveys," Southwire explained. Contractors will earn points each time they complete such a survey.

The company said they plan to incorporate more ways to earn points and to interact with Southwire once the program has launched and is underway.
