It offers front access to the fiber jumpers and rear access to the OSP/IFC fibers, allowing rack or wall mounting for space-critical environments. These panels support industry-standard connectors as well as on-frame fusion splicing and mechanical splicing for both singlemode and multimode fiber termination systems. Tester/wire mapping tool CooperTools' Xcelite data communications CDD1B coaxial/data/tone tester has a mapping function that tells you where wiring is located and lets you test cable conditions be fore or after installation. The cable location/identification function lets you identify the locations up to seven installed lines at a time. Testing functions include cable identification (straight or reverse), pair identification, and an open/short test. Printing at various speeds up to 2,000 feet per minute, according to company claims, the system can print up to six lines of text with high resolution.
