End-to-end cabling system

The GigaMo+ end-to-end cabling system from Ortronics exceeds current tia/eia-568a standards and will exceed the proposed iso/iec-11801-b Category 6 channel specification. According to the company, it is the highest-performing unshielded twisted-pair (utp) 100-ohm, 4-pair, 24 awg copper-based channel solution on the market. This system will also support 622-megabit-per-second Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Gigabit Ethernet. GigaMo+ includes all products from the workstation outlet to the telecommunications closet, including all connectivity hardware and utp horizontal cabling. All system components, such as patch cords, modular jacks, modular patch panels, and utp horizontal cabling, have been optimized to ensure that high-bandwidth protocols operate consistently and reliably. The system is backwards-compatible with the GigaMo Series II workstation outlets, modular patch panels, cable-management, and raceway products.
