tii-Ditel has designed the fcv-1 connector viewer for inspections of fiber-optic connectors in patch panels and sophisticated transmission equipment, eliminating the need to disassemble a connector from the adapter when you are inspecting a panel- or backplane-mounted connector for dirt or damage. The viewer`s 14-inch, insulated, rigid probe houses a built-in miniature ccd camera and affords access to the rear of the chassis. The camera focuses on the ferrule surface of the installed connector.
