High-density cable assemblies

June 1, 1998
High-density cable assemblies have standard configurations with up to 200 pins per connector and four times the density of D-Sub connectors. Using a proprietary wire-bonding process, the cable assemblies can be terminated with a variety of interfaces, including coaxial cable, twisted-pair cable to 40 awg, V.35, D-Subs, and printed-circuit boards. The assemblies suit computer, network equipment, and telecommunications applications.
