The Model 62-104 amplifier probe senses tone generator signals traveling along conductors to identify specific conductors or wire bundles without damaging the conductor insulation. It includes adjustable volume control, recessed handset terminal ports, and a nonconductive carbon-fiber tip. Both units simplify locating and identifying cable pairs, individual conductors, and telephone wires to distances to 50,000 feet.
