The rungs are fitted with plastic caps to prevent installer injury and cable damage. Part of the Specmate series of cable-tray systems, the wall-mounted tray is available in four configurations. Single-tier trays are appropriate for moderate-capacity applications, while single-tier trays with holes accommodate expansion. Assembled double-tier and triple-tier trays provide additional capacity and separate cable-routing channels. Covers are also available. All trays in the Specmate line have been tested to load-bearing standards established by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (Washington, DC).
