Silver Fox wins Queen's Award for Enterprise

Aug. 2, 2005
Aug. 2, 2005 - Representatives of the company were honored at a Buckingham Palace ceremony.

Silver Fox (www.silfox.com), a U.K.-based manufacturer of labeling products for communications systems, won the Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade. Representatives of the company were invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace on July 12.

"It was an honor to win the award, but to actually be invited to Buckingham Palace and to be presented to Her Majesty The Queen was surreal," said Nicholas Michaelson, managing director of Silver Fox. "I am not sure how we will be able to surpass that in 2006."

Silver Fox also announced that it sponsored Natasha Cohen on her Icelandic Trek in support of the Macmillan Cancer Relief Charity. Cohen completed her 100-plus-mile trek on July 24 and raised in excess of 3,000 pounds. The company encourages those interested in helping the charity to visit www.macmillan.org.uk.
