Chatsworth Products expands product line

June 13, 2005 - New products include zone cabling, wireless enclosures and wall-mounted racks.

Chatsworth Products, Inc. has expanded its line of zone cabling, wireless enclosures and wall-mounted racks.

The products are designed to simplify growth, mobility and reorganization in the
work place.

Zone enclosures are placed close to the users above drop ceilings, under raised floors, even inside cubicle wall panels. CPI now offers zone enclosures from American Access
Technologies, Inc. Two new enclosures now provide additional options and flexibility for applications above a drop ceiling or under a raised floor.

The new 2'x 4' Enclosure for Drop Ceilings supports multiple users or network connections. Options include an internal two-speed fan and integrated junction box. Additionally, the new 2'x 2' Fiber Enclosure for Raised Floors is designed to provide easy access to a rack-mount fiber located under a raised floor. Placing connections under the floor saves valuable space within cabinets, allowing the data center to be easily reconfigured.

For larger applications, CPI's popular Cube-iT Plus Cabinet System now includes five- and six-foot enclosures sturdy enough to support up to 1,000 pounds of crossconnect equipment. Key features of the cabinet include a swing out body, pre-punched knockouts for conduit, interior cable tie points, adjustable depth 19" EIA mounting rails, a vented body, and keyed locks on front and back. A complete line of accessories is available.

The new EasySwing Wall-Mount Rack is designed to be a cost-effective, easy-to-install wall rack that stores equipment in networking, telecommunications and equipment rooms where floor space is limited. EasySwing is copper and fiber ready and can hold up to 85 pounds of equipment. EasySwing ships pre-assembled and folded to fit in a 4" high box.

CPI has also expanded its selection of ceiling-mounted wireless enclosures to include a new Universal Faceplate that is compatible with most wireless devices. It allows antennas to pass through the access door for maximum coverage. A new version of the AAT-CAP
enclosure includes a junction box for wireless access points that require a direct power connection.
