PowerDsine will launch two new Power over Ethernet products at Interop New York 2005.
The conference will take place Dec. 12-16 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
PowerDsine has a new line of Power over Ethernet (PoE) midspans as well as its latest integrated PoE chip for Ethernet switch vendors. The company's midspan solution is an intelligent PoE injector installed between an Ethernet switch and end devices, such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones, wireless LAN access points and IP surveillance cameras. The PowerDsine PoE midspans are designed to increase enterprise network productivity by leveraging existing network infrastructure and eliminating the need to replace legacy Ethernet switches. PoE midspans minimize installation costs and reduce deployment times associated with roll-outs of IP telephony systems, wireless LANs and IP-based surveillance systems.
In addition, PowerDsine PoE midspans, which are compliant with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard, support Web-based remote management and are available in one-, six-, 12-, 24- and 48-port versions to accommodate the needs of all enterprise environments.
PowerDsine, based in Israel, designs, develops and supplies integrated circuits, modules and systems that enable the implementation of PoE in LANs. For more information visit www.powerdsine.com.
