Ortronics/Legrand assumes control of Homaco

May 18, 2005 - The Chicago-based Homaco makes equipment racks, cross connect systems, terminal blocks, floor frames and more.

Ortronics/Legrand announced today that it will assume operational control of Homaco, a manufacturer of telecommunications products.

Homaco's products include equipment racks, cross connect systems, terminal blocks, floor frames, wall modules, and cable runway. Homaco, based in Chicago, IL, was formerly a business unit of Wiremold/Legrand, based in West Hartford, CT, a sister company of Ortronics/Legrand within Legrand North America.

Homaco TR and Building Entrance products, which include equipment racks and accessories, equipment wall racks, cable management, cable runway, pre-terminated assemblies, quick connect frames, and wall modules will be sold through Ortronics/Legrand existing sales and distribution channels. Homaco's customer support team will continue to service the products from the Chicago office.
