Belden CDT Electronics Division and On-Q Home have announced a joint marketing alliance designed to provide qualifying residential system installers with a 15-year extended warranty program they can offer as a tool for differentiation in the home networking marketplace.
Under the terms of the agreement, Belden and On-Q Home will pursue joint opportunities to market a complete residential home networking system consisting of On-Q Home enclosures, modules and accessories, and Belden CDT cables. On-Q Home Dealer Partner companies that install a complete, end-to-end On-Q Home/Belden system in accordance with On-Q Home and Belden installation guidelines may offer the 15-year Extended Product Warranty. This warranty covers passive products from On-Q Home and cables from Belden, and is activated when the installing company submits a properly completed registration form application.
"We are extremely pleased to partner with On-Q Home, a premier provider of structured solutions for home communications, entertainment, security and control, in this joint marketing agreement and extended warranty program," says Frank Koditek, residential market manager for Belden CDT Electronics Division.
