Pioneer Cable expands production capacity

Pioneer Cable Company, a manufacturer of Category 5 cabling products, is expanding its production capacity and capabilities.

The company, based in Wichita, Kan., has nearly 20 years of experience manufacturing custom cables and wiring harnesses. It is now expanding into full product production.

Pioneer Cable has added more than 150,000 square feet of production capacity to its existing operation. This expansion encompasses metal working and laser cutting, CNC metal work, welding, fiberglass, injection molding/plastics, wood and laminate work as well as finish powder coating. Pioneer can now offer its customers end-to-end production from prototyping through finished and packaged product in volume.

"We have always been strong in wiring harnesses and now we are able to provide complete turnkey products from initial designs through palletized, shrink-wrapped,
bar-coded, customer-ready product," says Thomas Anderson, president of Pioneer Cable. "We can build as much or as little of a finished product as customers' want."
