Fluke Networks, 3M in training partnership

July 15, 2002
July 15, 2002--Students in 3M's cabling-installation course can also become Fluke Networks-certified.

Fluke Networks (www.flukenetworks.com) and 3M (www.3m.com) jointly announced collaborative efforts between the two companies, through which students taking 3M cabling-installation courses can also become Fluke Networks-certified.

"By incorporating Fluke Networks certification into our training program, we can offer our customers a broader training program than is otherwise available to them in testing both copper and fiber cabling systems," said Dave Gutman, 3M Volition laboratory manager.

Of the agreement, Fluke Networks fiber-optics program manager Bob Jensen said, "This reflects a great relationship between the two companies in recognizing excellence in education. Fluke Networks recognizes the importance of an education partner with shared values of customer service and support."
