Rancho Santa Fe wires up San Diego school

April 18, 2002--The installer worked with the project's electrical contractor to provide an infrastructure with UTP, optical-fiber, and coaxial cable.

Rancho Santa Fe Technology Inc. has completed the installation of a high-speed structured cabling system for Grossmont High School in La Mesa, San Diego.

Trestand Conrique, president of Rancho Santa Fe Technology, says his company worked with Sadler Electric to provide the upgrade for the high school's structured cabling system. The system will service a Main Distribution Frame and an Intermediate Distribution Frame located within 14 campus buildings.

The AMP-certified project, designed as part of a major power and technology upgrade for the high school, included the installation of about 17,000 feet of optical fiber cabling, 80,000 feet of Category 5e cabling and 17,000 feet of coaxial cable for the school's cable television system.

Conrique says the Rancho Santa Fe Technology has completed network infrastructure projects for the Carlsbad High School, Cajon Valley Union School District, San Diego Jewish Academy, University of San Diego, University of California at San Diego, Bakersfield College and the Santee School District.
