3Com Introduces LAN Products

3Com Corporation has introduced a 3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN switch, as well as three new hardware platforms, and wireless hubs, PC cards, and USB adapters.

3Com Corporation (www.3com.com) introduced the SuperStack 3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN switch, a 12-port system that carries Gigabit Ethernet traffic on either copper or fiber-optic LANs. 3Com also introduced three new hardware platforms; the first is a firewall for midsize companies, the second is a Web-caching product, and the third is a content switch and server load balancer. 3Com has also introduced wireless hubs, PC cards, and USB adapters for its Bluetooth family of mobility products.
