The Siemon Company has announced its new 10G ip solution. The system is designed to be a networking infrastructure that can handle emerging bandwidth-intensive, IP-based applications.
10Gip is designed to give enterprise customers the ability to maximize their investment in IP networking equipment while decreasing costs and improving revenues. It features Siemon's 10 Gb/s XGLO fiber products, TERA - a copper cabling system delivering 1.2 GHz of usable bandwidth and 10G 6.
10G ip combines Siemon technology. XGLO Fiber cabling, Siemon's newest fiber system, features singlemode and multimode LC and SC style laser optimized components and is designed for applications ranging from 1Gb/s to 10 Gb/s backbones to fiber to the desk.
TERA is ideal for multimedia transmission over a single Shielded Twisted Pair cable. The TERA system and its components offer full compliance to the new international class F and category 7 standards.
