The Ethernet market currently comprises more than 50% of the market and is expected to reach $130 billion in 2005. Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) is estimated at $5 billion in 2000. The market for Wireless LAN (WLAN) is estimated at $1.2 billion, and will likely reach nearly $7.5 billion by 2005.
