Installer Comforce Bringing Alcatel to Enterprises

April 25, 2001 Comforce Telecom will now sell, install, and maintain the Alcatel OmniPCX 4400 and Omni family of voice and data products for enterprise networks.

April 25, 2001 Comforce Telecom, a division of Comforce Corporation (www.comforce.com), will now sell, install, and maintain the Alcatel OmniPCX 4400 and Omni family of voice and data products for enterprise networks. Comforce is an existing Alcatel (www.alcatel.com) reseller in the carrier space, selling Alcatel's central-office core switches and providing Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) installations.

Comforce Telecom provides telecommunications staffing, consulting, and outsourcing services. The group is a VAR for PBXs, telecommunications products, cabling infrastructure, contracted technicians, and local area networking technologies.

Kevin O'Brien, director of New York-area sales for Comforce, said the company was "looking for a partner that would enable us to more effectively utilize our existing nationwide infrastructure, and who could provide a high-end convergence platform for all market segments."

As an Alcatel business partner, Comforce is authorized to sell, service, install, maintain, and provide technical support for Alcatel's entire line of voice and data convergence products to medium and large enterprises.
