ADC announced that carrier market distributor Walker and Associates Inc. has placed a major stocking order for ADC's OmniReach products, making Walker a key stocking partner for ADC's entire line of FTTX infrastructure products.
"We are pleased to report this important order from Walker and Associates, as they are featuring our most innovative product offerings and allowing their customers to purchase them first," comments Tom Kampf, vice president of FTTX product management for ADC. "These products allow customers to future-proof their networks, giving them room to grow and meet the diverse needs of fiber subscribers."
According to a press release, the Walker order calls for ADC's OmniReach ACE fiber distribution hubs (FDHs), multi-port service terminals (MSTs), hardened connectors and drop cables, and FDH 3000 mini plug-and-play splitter modules.
"We are continuing to see an increasing number of requests from our customers for products associated with the delivery of fiber-to-the-home," remarks Lisa Smiley, vice president of marketing for Walker and Associates. "In addition, we are seeing an increased same-day demand for MSTs and other access network solutions, as well as drops and splitter modules.
