October 17, 2007 -- The digital and IP video surveillance systems provider has been accepted into the American Institute of Architects' Continuing Education System.
October 17, 2007 -- Digital and IP video surveillance systems provider Vicon Industries Inc. has been accepted as a registered provider in the American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Continuing Education System, to provide continuing education to its architects and engineers.
Vicon says it plans to provide classes, both live and online, that cover technology and design considerations critical to today's IP and hybrid installations. Classes will be taught by Richard Koharik, Vicon's A&E Services manager. Koharik is a certified adult education instructor and is a member of ASIS and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI ).
"Today there is an increase in the involvement of engineers and architects' specifying a variety of technology, and Vicon is delighted to help provide education in the areas of integrated surveillance and security," comments Koharik.
