July 26, 2007 -- Hirschmann announced that it will host annual Industrial Ethernet and Network Design Seminar. The event will be held September 17-20 at the Bolger Center in Potomac, MD, in the metro Washington DC area.
According to Hirschmann, the three day event is comprised of "a series of hardcore technical sessions" intended to help control engineers and plant personnel to better design, implement, and maintain Ethernet networks; to keep abreast of developing standards, techniques, products with regard to Ethernet's implementation in the industrial marketplace; and to better understand the specific requirements of Ethernet technology in industrial and mission-critical environments.
