May 10, 2007 -- Greenlee, a Textron Inc. company, has launched a re-designed Website, www.greenlee.com.
According to the company, based on feedback received directly from its customers and employees, the new site is optimized to provide fast, reliable product information and online support. The site receives about 1.5 million inquiries each month, claims the company.
"Utilizing Six Sigma tools, we have developed not only a new look and feel, but have made significant navigation improvements to allow for easy exploration and quick location of information," says Susan Stukenberg, Greenlee's director of communications. "We will continue to provide additional enhancements in the coming months to keep the website fresh."
"The re-design is essentially a look-and-feel that is now consistent with our latest print catalog," adds Tom Dotson, Internet marketing specialist for Greenlee. "We captured Greenlee's voice of the customer, from end-users and distributors, to determine our top page hits, such as 'What's New, Product Demos, Instruction Manuals, Promotions, and Supplier Center/Distributor Center,' and have provided access to these pages from any point throughout the site itself."
Along with the re-designed site, the company has also introduced a new online digital asset management system, which can be found at the site's "Distributor Center," as a way to provide distributors and partners with quick, easy access the company's collection of product images and application files.
By logging onto www.greenleeadvantage.com and choosing "Request a Login," users can begin taking advantage of the new system.
"Our customers can use this Web-based tool to acquire high- or low-resolution images and create full-color, quality catalogs, brochures and flyers, or to support their own Website needs," remarks Chera M. Ellis, Greenlee's director of marketing.
