Quintum Technologies appoints new president

Jan. 20, 2004 - Kurt Baumann will lead VoIP product manufacturer.

Quintum Technologies, Inc. has announced that Kurt Baumann, former executive for PSINet, has been appointed president.

Baumann brings more than a decade of executive experience in running technology companies in high-growth markets, both domestically and internationally. His main focus will be accelerating Quintum's growth strategy by elevating the company's position in the VoIP market, and leveraging its existing and future VoIP deployments globally.

Involved with technology, networks, and the Internet since leaving the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982, Baumann hopes to further establish Quintum as a leading global supplier of VoIP solutions.
