Accubid Systems has acquired ConstructJob Inc. of Meade, CO.

ConstructJob provides Web-based document management and bid solicitation software, which is designed to allow contractors to communicate, collaborate and manage project documentation more efficiently.

ConstructJob founder Natalie Abshier has joined Accubid as the manager of the company's new Project Management Products division, and will continue to direct the development of the ConstructJob product line. Existing ConstructJob users will continue to deal with Abshier and her team on matters of product support, training and implementation.

"My vision of providing a project management system that allows contractors to manage projects easier and more efficiently has become a reality that will now grow to an even lager scale with Accubid," says Abshier.

"The acquisition of ConstructJob allows Accubid to truly become a total solution provider for all contractor needs from estimating through project management," says Accubid President Giovanni Marcelli.

An enhanced version of the flagship ConstructJob product, with document alerts and direct links to Microsoft Outlook, will be released under the Accubid brand name later this year.
