UStec promotes two employees

Sept. 29, 2004 - Thomas Cunningham, Alex Weaver move ahead at structured cabling manufacturer.

UStec, a manufacturer of structured wiring systems for residential and commercial applications, has announced the promotions of Thomas Cunningham and Alex Weaver.

Cunningham has been promoted to director of technical development. He is responsible for directing the technical aspects of business product development, IS/IT, technical support to dealers as well as training programs for dealers and end users. Additionally, he becomes a member of UStec's management advisory group, which directs future UStec business endeavors.

Cunningham previously served as technical services manager and has been employed by UStec for seven years. He has a bachelor's degree in business management and administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Cunningham lives in
Bloomfield with his wife and children.

Weaver has been promoted to director, western sales. In his new role, he will oversee UStec sales for the western half of the US, as well as construct and manage national sales programs. He formerly served as national sales manager for UStec and has been employed with the company for five years. Weaver has a master's degree in clinical psychology from Washburn University in Topeka, KA, and a bachelor's degree in
psychology from the University of Buffalo.

A Victor, NY native, Weaver now lives in Flower Mound, TX, with his wife and son.
