American Manufacturing Services moves to larger facilities

June 22, 2004
June 22, 2004 - The contract manufacturer serves the aerospace market and electrics-industry sectors.

American Manufacturing Services (AMS--www.americandistr.com) has moved to a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing, engineering, and testing facility, a move the company says will enable it to substantially increase overall capacity and achieve AS9100 compliance. The new facility is in Okemah, OK, a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone).

AMS is a preferred supplier to aerospace manufacturer Goodrich, and also serves industrial, commercial, health-care, computer, and test-equipment sectors in the electronics industry. Among AMS's offerings are cable assemblies and full system integration, as well as PCB-to-chassis assembly.

AMS is a sister company of American Distributors Inc. (ADI), which is an ISO-9002 distributor of electronic and electromechanical components and assemblies.
