Panelists to discuss future for wireless and wireline companies

July 12, 2004 - Speakers will give presentation during upcoming TELECOM '04 in Las Vegas.

The United States Telecom Association has announced a panel of speakers who will offer their perspectives on the future for wireless and wireline companies.

The panelists will discuss critical issues including how service providers keep up with rapidly changing consumer demands in today's highly competitive communications market. Scott Ford, CEO of ALLTEL, John Stanton, CEO of Western Wireless and Ed Zander, chairman and CEO of Motorola will participate in this keynote roundtable discussion at TELECOM '04.

TELECOM '04 draws communications leaders from around the world to view new technologies and learn more about all aspects of the communications industry as lines between cable, wireline, wireless and satellite platforms continue to converge. The show will be held in Las Vegas, Oct. 9 - 13. This panel discussion will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

"These three CEOs lead companies that are among the most successful players in the telecom marketplace," says USTA President Walter McCormick, Jr., who will moderate the discussion. "We are honored that Scott, John and Ed will join us at TELECOM '04 to share their valuable insight about this dynamic industry."
