Kurt Templeman

With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Kurt Templeman serves as Product Manager of Enterprise Networks at Sumitomo Electric Lightwave, located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He is responsible for the FutureFLEX® Air-blown Fiber® product line, including overseeing training programs, design, and installation. Since joining Sumitomo, he has been instrumental in the growth and development of the FutureFLEX Air-blown Fiber technology, which has been adopted by leading enterprises including the Pentagon, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins University, CONOCO, CNN, and others.Kurt has directly worked in the design, sales, and installation of blown fiber systems for the past 15 years and has managed the design and implementation of optical fiber and copper systems for customers, such as National Institutes of Health (NIH), NAVAIR Command Center, World Trade Center, Patuxent River Naval Air Station, University of Utah, and Defense Information Systems Agency.
