Arlington’s low-profile 5x8 inch TV Box (TVL508S) comes with a steel back box and a 38RAST Snap2It connector for use with metal conduit.
The TVL508S is designed for flush-mounting TVs on a wall as shallow as 3/4" (such as furring strips on concrete block walls) or 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4 studs.
Mounting wing screws hold the cULus listed box in wall. The box's low profile compensates for obstructions behind a wall.
With space inside for tying off cable, plugs and connections stay inside the box, which at the same time allows a TV to mount close to a wall.
