Anixter offering IP security product bundles for camera video surveillance

Dec. 6, 2013
Comprehensive bundles are ordered under one part number and delivered in one shipment, says the distributor.

Developed by Anixter’s Technical Solutions Group, the distributor's new "READY! To Go" IP security product bundles come in a variety of 8, 16 or 24 IP camera video surveillance options, including all the components needed for IP security system deployment, from the cameras to the uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The distributor says the new IP security product bundles are designed for optimal performance and compatibility so that ITS contractors "can spend more time installing and less time designing."

A sample bill of materials for the basic READY! to Go 8-camera IP video surveillance kit, ordered under one part number and delivered in one shipment, includes the following: the distributor's READY! jack kits (Category 6 RJ45 with faceplates); Category 6 patch cords, plenum UTP cabling and patch panels; installation instructions; server with software pre-loaded; camera licenses; PoE switch; indoor dome camera; UPS and cabinet enclosure.
