The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) and NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, July 12, at 11:00 am ET, to share details on the updated Broadband Infrastructure Playbook.
In March 2022, the FBA, in partnership with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, released the Broadband Infrastructure Playbook, a comprehensive guide designed to assist state broadband offices in making efficient and effective use of federal funds made available through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
Developed in cooperation with global telecom consulting firm Cartesian, the Broadband Infrastructure Playbook outlines and recommends broadband grant program structures consistent with IIJA objectives, and identifies successful examples from the high-performing state broadband programs over the past several years.
To help state broadband officers best leverage the opportunity to close the digital equity gap with IIJA funding, the playbook has been updated with information learned from the NTIA’s Notice of Funding Opportunity and further details on its BEAD Program.
Join Cartesian and top policy experts as they discuss these key updates to the Broadband Infrastructure Playbook during the webinar. Webinar participants will include:
- Gary Bolton, President and CEO, Fiber Broadband Association
- Michael Romano, Senior Vice President of Industry Affairs & Business Development, NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association
- Michael Dargue, Vice President, Cartesian
- Tom Cohen, FBA Counsel and Partner, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP
- Joanne Hovis, FBA Board Member and President, CTC Technology & Energy
