Web seminar discusses grounding and bonding practices, standards

Panduit delivers hour-long tutorial covering TIA-607-B, its first addendum, and system specification.
An hour-long seminar that will be delivered live via the web on December 19 will cover standards and practices for grounding and bonding a telecommunications system. Entitled “Grounding and Bonding: Protecting Your Vital Assets,” the seminar will be hosted by Cabling Installation & Maintenance and delivered live by Panduit product manager Tom Turner at 1pm EDT on December 19.
A description of the seminar reads: “Efficient and dependable telecommunications bonding and grounding are key building blocks for the enterprise network. Participants of this event will receive key insights to recent standard-body developments, particularly those related to TIA-607-B Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding (Earthing) for Customer Premises and the forthcoming TIA-607-B-1 External Grounding Addendum.
Individuals who attend the live event in its entirety will be eligible to receive one continuing education credit (CEC) toward the professional credentials offered by BICSI.
