IDEAL Networks, a global provider of data cable and network testing equipment, announced its appointment of new manufacturer rep agencies to extend the company’s local coverage for customers in the U.S.
The appointment of the new rep agencies is IDEAL Networks’ latest investment in supporting its customers. The move follows recent news that IDEAL has established a dedicated facility in New Jersey to meet the needs of installers, technicians and distribution partners across North America.
So far, the company has partnered with seven rep agencies (with more to follow). The new agencies are as follows:
- Cabling Technologies Inc. (Florida)
- Manufacturers Solution Alliance (Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia)
- The Ascend Group (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana)
- TC Connect (North and South Carolina)
- Private Network Technologies (New York and Northern New Jersey)
- Kirk Sales Inc. (Southern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware)
- Triton GN (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania)
“Under new ownership since December 2018, we are hiring new people, established a new premises and are now adding agencies to provide increased local coverage for customers in the US, while building on decades of experience in this industry,” says Jim Hunter, IDEAL's vice president of sales for North America. “With our strong foundation and innovative, new products, we are making sure our customers and distribution partners across the country receive the very best service, support and solutions.”
Hunter’s appointment is another of IDEAL Networks’ recent investments, along with the employment of an additional regional sales manager: Brian Bortz is responsible for customers in the U.S. Western Region, joining regional sales managers Wendy Thomas (U.S. Northeast/North Central) and Bryan Marcom (U.S. Southeast/South Central).
IDEAL Networks says it continues to invest in product development, recently announcing the launch of its LanTEK IV cable certifier which the company says "introduces a completely unique, future-proof way to certify data cable and sets a new standard for this product category."
This followed the recent launch of IDEAL's PoE Pro for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining PoE devices and data cabling, and the launch of its NaviTEK IE, billed as the first handheld network tester designed for use with PROFINET Industrial Ethernet networks.
