Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC) has become a rental distributor of Fluke Networks products.

Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC) has announced an agreement with Fluke Networks to become a rental distributor of Fluke Networks products, bringing greater product availability to customers with immediate test equipment needs.

ATEC will now carry Fluke's Versiv family of cable certification testers, designed to enable fast and accurate copper and fiber certification, as well as optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) testing. Fluke Networks is a dedicated provider of network test and monitoring solutions. ATEC is one of the largest rental companies nationwide of test equipment for telecommunications, aerospace, semiconductor, consumer electronics and many other sectors.

According to Fluke, Versiv’s "m" line of interchangeable modules for copper, fiber and OTDR testing offer superior diagnostic capabilities and industry-leading testing speed -- an essential benefit for ATEC customers. By renting from ATEC, that company notes that datacom installers can take advantage of Versiv’s capabilities without incurring capital expense. Renting also helps them increase utilization of their existing equipment and enables them to take on more jobs more quickly without worrying about test equipment availability.

ATEC provides test equipment to companies looking to manage their test equipment budget and maximize the company’s growth. "For more than 30 years, companies have rented from ATEC to preserve capital, adjust for seasonal demand, increase utilization of existing test equipment, and take on more jobs without increasing capital expenses," said a company press release. "With this partnership, ATEC can now offer faster delivery and provide the best technical and customer support to deliver the right products and accessories its customers need to get their tests done on schedule and on budget."

“We are very excited to be working with Fluke Networks and providing customers with best-in-class products like Versiv,” said Jill Berg, president of ATEC. “This partnership builds on our commitment and success in support of our customers’ needs for installing and maintaining high speed, certified, and reliable copper and fiber networks.”

“Partnering with Advanced Test Equipment Rentals is ideal for us,” added Gary Staley, vice president of Worldwide Sales for Fluke Networks. “The ATEC relationship gives their customers a chance to take advantage of Fluke Networks industry-leading test equipment through rental options, and ATEC shares Fluke Networks commitment to service excellence.”
