Ekahau (Reston, VA), a provider of Wi-Fi / WLAN design and optimization tools, has announced the release of Version 7.0 of its Wi-Fi site survey and planning tool, Ekahau Site Survey (ESS).
According to the company, with ESS 7.0, WLAN engineers and IT administrators can conduct Wi-Fi site surveys using multiple Wi-Fi devices, simultaneously. Using multiple Wi-Fi adapters with ESS reduces the time it takes to complete a site walk and improves site survey speed by up to 2x, while maintaining WLAN measurement accuracy; this translates into 2x faster network verification and optimization, contends the company.
