Virgin Media O2 Grows Collaboration With Netcracker in Digital Transformation Program
Netcracker Technology recently announced that it extended and broadened the scope of its partnership with Virgin Media O2 as part of an ongoing digital transformation program that proves to be beneficial for the operator and its UK customers.
During this phase of Virgin Media O2’s digital transformation, they will deploy the Netcracker Digital Platform, which includes end-to-end Digital BSS and Digital OSS functions such as Active Resource Inventory. The platform is used to support the operator’s quad-play convergent services across its consumer lines of business including mobile, fixed line, broadband, and cable. On top of this, Virgin Media O2 will implement a variety of professional services from Netcracker, such as Managed Services and Application Development.
“The operator expects to achieve a number of business benefits from this modern, flexible and agile IT environment, including OpEx reduction, improved time to market for new services, consolidation onto a single product catalog, higher efficiency in the order-to-cash process and elimination of multiple systems for customer service agents.” Virgin Media O2 will also be able to leverage a unified 360-degree customer view spanning all channels, which will grow personalized interactions a provide a more hearty choice of services paired with an excellent experience.
