Light Brigade, JETTING AB partner on air blown fiber tooling, equipment, training

Sept. 15, 2022
Light Brigade’s instructor-led fiber-optic skills training and fiber-optic tooling and product distribution capabilities are now expanded with the addition of air blown fiber (ABF) training, equipment, and field support services for the FTTx market.

Light Brigade and JETTING AB on Sept. 1 announced the firms have entered into an OEM distribution agreement whereby Light Brigade will be a stocking distributor for JETTING’s range of fiber-blowing machines, and will provide in-field services for training and support throughout the U.S.

With the new partnership, Light Brigade’s offering of instructor-led fiber-optic skills training and fiber-optic tooling and product distribution capabilities is now expanded with the addition of air blown fiber (ABF) training, equipment, and field support services for the FTTx market.

Headquartered in Kent, Wash., Light Brigade will be offering national coverage for the JETTING products with its additional distribution hubs in Dallas, Tex., and Clinton, S.C. Further training centers are expected to open in the future.

In August 2020, Light Brigade was acquired by Hexatronic Group AB, a global specialist in blown fiber systems, fiber-optic products, and training services.

Hexatronic Canada has been distributing and supporting the Canadian region with JETTING ABF equipment since 2019.
